EV6 GT AC meltdown

This is a scorching hot mess! Leasing an EV6 GT should’ve been a dream but a national backorder on the AC compressor has turned it into a nightmare. After battling intermittent AC issues and a dealer confirming the need for a new compressor and inverter, the real pain began. No parts, no ETA, and mounting lease payments for a car I can’t use. Anyone else stuck in this AC limbo with their EV6 GT, especially on a lease? Is a buyback the only option, or can we leverage consumer protection laws to force a lease termination and for those considering another Kia EV, like the EV9, after this experience, are you willing to risk another potential parts shortage or service headache?

We got a new GT Line last month, and guess what? The AC was completely busted from the get-go. It's been at the dealership for over a week now, waiting on parts, apparently, it’s the AC inverter and a fuse. So, looks like we're in for a pretty long wait. My wife’s car barely has 200 miles on it, and it's already spent more time in the shop than in our garage. Apparently, AC inverters are as rare as unicorns these days, no matter the car brand.
