I’ve had to panic brake twice in my Kia EV6 Wind, and both times, it felt like the ABS didn’t activate, the brakes seemed to lock up instead.

I was in i-Pedal mode when this happened.
The first time was when someone ran a stop sign, and the second was a pedestrian stepping into my path.
I plan to bring this up at my next service visit, but I want to know if others have experienced this too.

Could i-Pedal mode affect ABS functionality? If you’ve had a panic stop in your EV6, did ABS work as expected?

Did you experience wheel slip, like tire squeal on dry pavement or sliding in wet conditions? Is that how you determined the ABS wasn't functioning?

That sounds concerning. i-Pedal mode could impact braking dynamics since it prioritizes regen. You can check with Kia, have you tried panic braking in normal mode?
