Trouble with EV6 Automatic Parallel Parking

Curious if anyone else has had mixed results with the EV6’s automatic parallel parking feature? I’ve been trying to use it by holding the Park button ahead of an open space and moving forward slowly, but it only seems to catch the space sometimes. Other times, it just doesn’t seem to register, even when the spot is more than big enough. Wondering if there’s a specific trick or timing that makes it more reliable. Anyone else find it a bit quirky ?

I’ve noticed similar issues with mine. Sometimes it works great, other times it just doesn’t register the space.
