I’m trying to fine-tune the regen braking on my ‘24 EV6 Wind LR AWD. I’ve noticed that the car feels like it accelerates quicker when I use less regen in Auto mode. Does the Auto setting apply a constant drag or regen force, or is it kind of all over the place?
Also, how’s this going to affect my MPKH?
And what’s the best regen setting for highway cruising (mostly 60-70 mph)?

With my EV6, I noticed the same: less regen in Auto mode feels like smoother acceleration. Auto adjusts regen based on speed and surroundings, so it’s not a constant drag, it can vary a lot. For highway driving, I’ve found a low or zero regen setting works best for keeping MPKH high. At 60-70 mph, coasting more helps efficiency, so switching out of Auto mode and using the lowest regen setting has given me the best range.

Ah, got it! So Auto mode’s pretty smart, huh? Adjusts regen depending on stuff like traffic and speed…makes sense. But when you're cruising at the highway, I assume you’re not really slamming the brake pedal much. right? More like just letting the car coast and keep rolling with that sweet momentum?
