Suede seats how do they hold up in heat?

I’m looking to replace my 2023 GT Line AWD with another red one, but most of the ones available near Los Angeles come with suede seats. While I love the look, I’m a bit concerned about how they’ll handle sweaty summer days.

For those who already have suede seats, how do they fare when it’s hot out? Any issues with odors or cleaning after a workout or long drive? Would you choose suede again?

I think it's like a microfiber, similar to the Alcantara.

It doesn't smell bad or anything, and it's pretty easy to clean. It's basically just a special plastic that feels like leather.

I haven't been having any issues with them. Contrary, I would recommend them.

Haven’t had any issues with mine as well, no weird smells, and it’s been surprisingly durable and easy to maintain. It’s basically plastic, but with a nicer feel.

that's a valid concern especially in LA summers. Suede looks sweet but it can be a sweat sponge. I've heard mixed reviews some folks say they're fine others say they get sticky and hold onto smells. Cleaning them can be a pain too you gotta be careful not to ruin the nap. If you're hitting the gym a lot or doing long drives in the heat you might regret it. Personally I'd probably stick with leather or something easier to clean.
