Split screen

I assumed this would be pretty standard, but I just tried split screen for the first time today, and no matter what I did, I couldn’t get both Apple CarPlay and the radio to show up at the same time.

Anyone know what I’m missing?

I ran into this too, and after some trial and error, I figured it out. You’ll need to enable split screen for CarPlay under the Setup > Device Connections menu. Also, I found it helpful to assign the star button on the steering wheel to toggle between CarPlay and the radio quickly. It saves so much time once you set it up.
