Road trip range

We will leave for Dallas at noon on Thursday. It is about a 300-mile trip.

I'm going to use the EV6's navigation. I usually get about 330 miles on a full charge. Recently, the car has been underestimating its range slightly. Last time, it said 316 miles, but I got 332.

My daily commute is brief, using only 5% of the battery each time. I read on the internet that someone only got 1.5 miles before dropping to 99% after a full charge. I tested it and got 4.4 miles.

I'm curious to see how far I can actually go on the highway. I will start with a full charge from work. I will let you know how things go!

Based on my experience, driving at higher speeds (like 80mph on the highway) can drain the battery faster than expected, so keeping it under 60mph might help maximize your range. I’ve had a similar situation where the range estimate didn’t quite match up, but I managed to exceed it. Let me know how it goes, and safe travels to Dallas
