So I finally got around to updating my EV6 with the latest software yesterday, feeling all tech-savvy. But today, when I fired up Kia Connect, bam! Network Error smacks me right in the face. Did the whole head unit reset thing, but it's like my car's having a total digital breakdown. Any genius ideas on what's up or how to sort this mess?

Try tuurning off your phone's Wi-Fi, then turn it back on. Alternatively, you can uninstall Kia Connect from your phone and then reinstall it.

Have you tried re-pairing your phone with Kia Connect or checking for any app updates? Sometimes the system needs a fresh connection after a software update.

Open the Kia Connect app on your phone. In your car, go to the Home screen, then Kia Connect, Settings, and Reconfigure. Turn off the app on your phone, then turn it back on.

I had a Jaguar before, and their app was so much more reliable than Kia Connect. It even gave accurate miles per kWh and let me download data as a CSV, which was super handy. Now with Kia Connect, even basic tasks seem to be hit or miss especially after updates like the one you're dealing with.
