Quick question for those in the know. I've got an ICD and I'm thinking about getting an electric car. Anyone know if there's anything I should be worried about with the magnetic fields and stuff that EVs produce? Thanks in advance!

I’d be surprised if there were any issues. I work around lab equipment with real magnetic field hazards, and if those don't get warning signs, an EV should be just fine.

EVs are designed with shielding to keep magnetic fields low, so they shouldn’t mess with your ICD. But just to be safe, you should check in with your doctor for peace of mind.
