Quick question for those in the know. I've got an ICD and I'm thinking about getting an electric car. Anyone have any info on how the magnetic fields in EVs might affect the ICD? I've heard some worries about it, but I haven't found much solid info. Any insights would be greatly appreciated!

EVs are designed with shielding to keep magnetic fields low, so they shouldn’t mess with your ICD. But just to be safe, I’d check in with your doctor for peace of mind.

Oh, totally! Because who doesn't want to add a little extra excitement to their life, right? Just imagine zapping your ICD every time you turn on the car! :D Seriously though, it’s definitely smart to double-check with your doctor before making that leap.

What? Absolutely not! Where do you think there are strong magnetic fields in an EV? That's just misinformation.
