So I've got this old Android phone just chilling in my drawer, not doing much. I’m thinking, why not repurpose it to setup an Aux Info Display (with the Car Scanner App) for my 2022 EV6, complete with Charging and On the Road Info? It sounds like a cool DIY project, but honestly, I'm kind of lost on where to begin. Any DIY buffs around who can toss some tips my way?

Finally, I found my person. Been thinking about that as well, but I still don't have an idea on what to do first. What kind of OBD are you thinking about getting?

Amazing one! You can start by downloading the Car Scanner app and connecting it to your car’s OBD-II port for data access, this is a first step.

Have you thought about what specific features you'd want the Aux Info Display to show, like battery health or real-time charging stats?
