Just got a taste of future tech fails! Driving using CarPlay instead of the car's built-in nav, when suddenly I got a wrong way alert. Makes sense, one-way street recently changed direction, maps probably haven't caught up. Exited the street, but the warning? Stuck like glue on the dash. Buttons we useless. I restarted the car still nothing. Finally, after 15 miles of frustration, we stumbled on the fix - exiting CarPlay! Turns out, there was a separate warning in the car's nav about the one-way street. Confirmed that warning, aaaaand poof! Dashboard message vanished. So, lesson learned - if your wrong way warning gets stuck using CarPlay/AndroidAuto, ditch the phone mirroring and check the car's built-in nav.

I get the same frustration driving down roads around here. I had a warning get stuck on the dash too, and it was super annoying since I couldn’t cancel it from there. I learned the hard way to check the car’s built-in nav whenever there’s a glitch.

I had the same hiccup recently. I was using CarPlay for navigation, and I got a wrong way alert that just wouldn’t go away. It turned out there was a separate warning in the car’s navigation system about a one-way street that had recently changed direction. Once I exited CarPlay and confirmed that warning in the built-in nav, the alert finally disappeared. So, if you run into a stubborn warning like I did, definitely check your car’s navigation system for any updates.
