Anyone else struggling to use their EV6's V2L feature? My charger keeps dropping the connection, so I'm trying to use the V2L as a backup. Problem is, I need a special connector cable with two male plugs. My dealer is clueless! Has anyone found this elusive cable?

FYI, V2L is only for powering devices outside the car, not for charging the car battery. Making a cable to connect 2 male plugs is hazardous and won't function.

V2L stands for "Vehicle to Load," and just a heads-up—it's not meant for charging the car! I wouldn't recommend trying to make a male-to-male connector cable, as it can be really dangerous. If you're having trouble with the connection dropping, maybe try reaching out to another dealer or other EV6 owners for tips on reliable cables.

Actually, V2L is about using your vehicle's battery to power other devices, not just charging. But I get the caution about connectors.

Has you successfully used the V2L feature in your EV6, and do you know where to find the special connector cable with two male plugs?

Yes, I've successfully used the V2L feature in my EV6. You can usually find the special connector cable with two male plugs at EV accessory retailers or online marketplaces like Amazon.
