So I’ve been driving my EV6 for a bit now, and I’m all in on it, but my wife... not so much. We’ve run into a few things that kinda bug us:

- Those glowing charge bars look cool and all, but at night? they make it impossible to see the charging port. Like, Im literally poking around trying to find it.
- The hatch button? trying to find that in the dark is difficult. Definitely not the best design.
- The seats are kinda meh. I mean, I’m not expecting luxury, but I thought they’d be more comfy. And the GT seats are an extra hit to the wallet for, what, a bit more cushion? Meh.

Anyone else dealing with this stuff or got any workarounds? I’m not totally ready to ditch the EV6 yet, but we’re definitely starting to eyeball other options.

I feel you, those charge lights and hatch button are tough at night, and the seats could be more comfortable.

It's kind of wild that a luxury car with such a hefty price tag doesn't even have something as basic as an LED ring around the charge port or a little light under the console to brighten up the lower tray. These are small touches that could make a huge difference, but nope, they're totally missing.

I’ve used a small magnetic light to help at night. As for the hatch button, a tactile sticker or tiny glow-in-the-dark dot works wonders

The only thing I'm not crazy about with my 2023 EV6 is that it doesn't have wireless Apple CarPlay. My son's 2022 Elantra has it, and it's so convenient. I'm using a USB-to-wireless adapter, and it works perfectly, but it seems like a bit of an oversight for a $50,000 car.

Other than that, this car is fantastic! It's fun to drive, incredibly quiet, and very efficient. I can easily fit four adults comfortably inside. I'm actually planning on doing some solo car camping trips with it this year. I'm really excited to explore more with it!
