Last week was a bit of a nightmare. Someone hit my car's doors while I was changing lanes. The passenger door was damaged, and the rear door has some minor damage too. The car is still drivable, but the outside handle on the passenger door is broken.

I've filed an insurance claim, but the recommended repair shop doesn't work on EVs. I'm considering taking it to a dealership for repairs, but I'm not sure if they offer bodywork services.

Dealerships often handle EV-specific repairs, including bodywork, or can refer you to a trusted shop.

So, are you going to replace the whole door or just fix the damage? Either way, it seems like a pretty straightforward job. They'll just need to take the door off, and disconnecting the battery should be the only EV-specific thing they need to worry about. Let us know if you decide to go to dealership and how much they charge.
