Just got the Zappi installed and I’m kinda puzzled. Will it charge my EV6 at the minimum 1.4kW rate? The car manual says it needs at least 4.2kW. Can I still use the Zappi to charge it then?

Yes, I use Zappi too, it can charge your EV6, but you need to set it to the right mode. If the car requires at least 4.2kW, you'll want to make sure the Zappi is set to a mode that meets that requirement. I usually adjust the settings in the app to get the best performance. Just check that you're using the appropriate cable for higher charging rates.

It sounds like the Zappi can charge your EV6 at a minimum of 1.4kW, but since your car needs at least 4.2kW, you’ll need to adjust the settings. If you don’t have solar, set the Zappi to 6 amps, which should help advertise a compatible rate for your EV6. If you do have solar, use eco plus to get the most out of it when there's extra power available. So yes, you can still use the Zappi, but you may need to tweak the settings a bit.
