So, I'm thinking about getting a KIA Level 1 charger, but it's kinda expensive. I've heard my house's wiring might not be good enough for it. If I use it at like 60% power, will it mess anything up? I know it'll charge slow, but I just don't want to fry anything.

Using a Level 1 charger at 60% power should be safe as long as your wiring is in decent shape. Level 1 chargers typically don’t draw too much power, but it’s always a good idea to have an electrician check your outlets and wiring first. It’ll charge slowly, but as long as you’re patient, you shouldn’t have any issues. Just monitor it the first few times to make sure everything stays cool! Better safe than sorry! Level 1 can be slow, but it’s a solid backup option!

I used a Level 1 charger for a while and it was fine. Just make sure it's plugged into a good outlet on its own circuit. Don't overload it or you could cause a fire.

Any update? Have you checked if your home’s wiring can handle the load at all, or considered a Level 2 charger instead?
