Why Won't My Car Drive After Charging?

So I’m dealing with this super annoying thing after charging my EV6 at a public charger. Once I’m done and try to shift into Drive, the car just won’t let me. Anyone else had this weird issue? Is there some specific sequence I need to follow to get it into Drive after charging? Appreciate any tips!

You gotta restart the car to use the power mode. Just step on the brake and restart your EV6. It lets you use the AC but you can't drive. It was weird at first, even for me.

I’ve tried that fix, but it’s like the car just refuses to move past the "non ready" state. Both screens light up as soon as I let go of the EV button, and I still can’t get it into Drive. It’s super frustrating because I end up freaking out and just pressing random buttons. Every once in a while, I get it into Drive, but honestly, I have no clue how, and that’s the most annoying part. Next time this happens, I’ll stay calm and try to really pay attention to what I’m doing. Thanks!

Try waiting a few seconds after unplugging before shifting, as the system may need time to reset.
