My 2023 EV6 recently started showing DTC code U111800, which keeps coming up about two and a half minutes after starting. From what I’ve gathered, it seems related to a water pump issue. When I checked under the hood, I noticed that the EWP2 20-amp fuse was blown. I tried replacing it, but the new fuse blew immediately before I could even fully seat it—this was with the car turned off.

The service shop isn’t sure when they can get me in, and I have a road trip planned for next Monday, so I’m hoping to troubleshoot this a bit myself. I’d like to check the connector on the water pump, but I have no idea where electronic water pump number two (EWP2) is located. Does anyone know where to find it or have any tips on what else I might try?

The fuse is blowing because the coolant circulation requires it, even if the car is off. This happens when the battery is warm and needs cooling. I think the EWP2 is located near the battery or coolant lines.
