Forward and reverse buttons not working on remote fob

Hey all, looking for some advice. I have had my remote fob since day one, but the on button, as well as the forward and reverse buttons, have never worked. Has anyone else experienced this issues or have any suggestions on what might be causing it? TY!

Try this: lock and unlock the car twice, then hold the start button until the lights flash. Next, hold the gear selector forward or backward to move the car. It should stop automatically if it senses something in the way.

Actually, yes! There was an issue with th fob. It had a faulty circuit inside. My dealer found that. They replaced it under warranty, and now everything is working perfectly. I appreciate your replies and suggestions, everyone. Ty!
