Need to choose a bike rack!

Hiya guys! EV6 owner here too. Looking to get a 2-bike rack for some summer adventures. Any recommendations on hitch-mounted or trunk-mounted racks that work well with the EV6? Bonus points for pics to see how they look!

I'm also in the market for a bike rack, and Thule seems to be the most recommended brand.

A stealth hitch and Thule Aero is a good choice as well. A Saris Bones rack could also be one of your choices and all of these are available on Amazon.

Hey there! For a 2-bike rack, I recommend checking out the Thule T2 Pro XT for hitch-mounted options, it’s sturdy and easy to use. If you prefer trunk-mounted, the Saris Bones EX is a great choice. Both should work well with the EV6. I have attached an image of the Thule T2 Pro XT, it is actually my favorite

I opted for the Thule system for the bars and bikes. It’s pricey when bought new, but I managed to grab everything second-hand except for the EV6 feet.

After a lot of back and forth, Kia finally installed the removable towbar while my car was in for the ICCU update. I also had my Buzzrack e-Scorpion XL ready. And yep, the Gocycle is still in the trunk from when I picked up the car it's actually a good test of the tilt mechanism to see if the rack clears the trunk when it opens.

Thanks for sharing! That's really practical informatione for anyone considering a towbar and bike rack for their Kia. The Buzzrack e-Scorpion XL looks like a solid option. It's great that you're testng the tilt mechanism. I'd be interested to see how it performs with the Gocycle loaded. Maybe you could share an update once you've had a chance to try it out?
