I’m in need of a Level 3 charging adapter for my 2023 Kia EV6 and would love to hear some recommendations. There are so many options out there, and I want to make sure I get something reliable and compatible.

If you’ve got one you’re using, could you share your experience? Whether it’s been seamless, any quirks, or what you’d suggest avoiding, every bit helps!

Since your EV6 uses CCS, you shouldn't need an adapter for DC fast charging at most stations (like Electrify America, EVgo, etc.). Those chargers have CCS plugs built-in. Are you perhaps thinking about an adapter for Tesla Superchargers? If so, there are a few CCS to Tesla adapters out there now, but reviews are mixed. Some folks have had good luck, while others have reported issues with charging speed or reliability. When you buy one, make sure the adapter you choose is rated for the charging speeds you expect and has good thermal management, as DC fast charging generates heat.

You need an adapter to use Tesla Superchargers with your EV6. There are a lot of adapters out there but many are new and might not be good. It's best to wait for the official Tesla adapter. Cheaper ones might not be safe. Wait and buy a good one later.
